Naimol Cup in Minato Mirai
A Mölkky Tournament for Everyone
On Sunday, February 15, 2026, we will host the Naimol Cup in Minato Mirai, an open and inclusive Mölkky tournament that everyone can enjoy, at Rinko Park. This event was launched with the hope of creating a culture around the phrase “Nice Mölkky”—a cheer called out to teammates or even the opposing team when all the skittles are knocked down on the very first throw. Let’s spread the spirit of “Nice Mölkky” across Japan together.
Beginners are more than welcome! We look forward to receiving your entry.
Tryout Session: ¥500 per person (Pay on the day)
From 3:00 PM on the event day, we will host a Mölkky tryout session for beginners.
A mini tournament lasting approximately 1.5 to 2 hours is planned. Same-day participation is welcome; however, to help us estimate attendance, we would appreciate it if those who plan to join could reserve a free ticket in advance.
Organization Overview & Philosophy
NICE MOLKKY JAPAN creates inclusive and enjoyable experiences through Mölkky, a Finnish-born new sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, body types, and experience levels. Through this activity, we aim to promote community connection and healthy lifestyles. To date, we have hosted three tournaments at Miyanomae Park in Arakawa Ward, which are becoming established as open, community-based sporting events welcoming participants from beginners to advanced players alike.
The name “Naimol” originates from the phrase “Nice Mölkky,” a cheer exchanged during matches to celebrate great plays. It represents our core philosophy of respecting, encouraging, and uplifting one another through sport.
