Concept

  1. 01

A grand and bold lattice design,
A new symbol of Yokohama Port.

The truss design, featuring the warmth of wood, captivates visitors at first glance. Serving as a symbol that connects the sea and greenery, the building is designed to become a beloved landmark at the heart of the port for years to come.

  2. 02

Pursuing Architecture for a New Era.

Using renewable wood materials, the building features a wood-steel hybrid laminated timber facade. Additionally, by combining replaceable wood layers on the exterior, the design achieves a dynamic aesthetic while maintaining high functionality and sustainability.
