From November to February, the campaign “THE YOKOHAMA ILLUMINATION” will connect illumination events held throughout Yokohama’s central waterfront area. Featuring over 40 events at tourist spots, commercial facilities, and shopping streets, the campaign also includes interactive programs such as a digital stamp rally to explore the city and an illumination and nightscape photo contest.

Experience a unique winter delight as the sparkling lights of illuminations blend with the beautiful nightscape of Yokohama, one of Japan’s “New Three Major Night Views” cities.

Participating Events

From November, enjoy Yokohama Illuminas Square at Yokohama Station West Exit, Yokohama Milight connecting Yokohama Station to the Minato Mirai area, Christmas Market at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, and Isezaki☆Light at Isezaki Mall. In December, Winter Wonder Park Yokohama 2025-26 at Yamashita Park and the citywide light and music spectacular “Yoru no Yo 2025” will begin, bringing a festive atmosphere to the Christmas season. From January, the Yokohama Spring Festival 2026 will also take place, keeping the winter excitement alive into the New Year.
